How to Send Proposals Without Signature and Use E-Signatures in Route BID
Step-by-Step Guide to Sending Proposals without Signature and Using E-Signatures
At this time, BID does not provide a direct option to "Email Proposal." However, you can easily send a proposal manually without needing a signature by following the steps below. If you would like to utilize an electronic signature (e-sign) or need to duplicate an existing proposal, we've included detailed instructions for those processes as well.
Emailing Without Signature
To send a customer a proposal without a signature, follow these steps:
-
Open Your Proposal: Navigate to the proposal you wish to send.
-
Access the Save Options:
- Click on the "Save Proposal" button located in the upper right-hand corner.
-
Download the PDF:
- From the dropdown menu, select "Download PDF."
-
Email the Proposal:
- You can now send the downloaded PDF proposal via email to your customer.
Note: Keep in mind that you will not receive email notifications when the customer opens the email.
Want to Use E-Sign?
If you would like to utilize E-Signature, follow these steps:
- Add Signatures:
- Simply drag and drop the "Signatures" element into your proposal before sending it out.
Want to Use the Existing Proposal?
Unfortunately, there is no way to use the 'Ghost' signed proposal. However, you can clone it:
- Head Over to the Proposal Page:
- Navigate to the proposals section of your account.
- Select the "Won" Tab:
- This tab will show you the proposals that have been accepted.
- Choose the Proposal:
- Click on the proposal you wish to clone.
- Clone the Proposal:
- Select "Clone Proposal" to create a new copy of the existing proposal.
