✗ How Accurate Are the Opportunity Locations Displayed on the Map?
nderstand Map Location Markers and How They Protect Client Confidentiality
On the Exchange interactive map, Opportunity Locations are highlighted by a pulsing 🟢Green Dot, making it easy to quickly identify where active work is available.
These markers are intentionally designed to represent approximate locations—typically within a ~ 1-mile / 1.6 km radius and slightly offset from the exact Location. This approach helps protect client confidentiality while still giving you a clear understanding of the geographic area and whether the Opportunity aligns with your service footprint.
Why this matters:
- You can confidently assess if the Opportunity fits your coverage area
- Sensitive client and location details remain protected during early-stage engagement
- Contractors can explore and engage Opportunities without compromising client privacy
As you move forward in the process, additional details will be shared directly by the Prime contractor—including the exact address and client information—once they determine it is appropriate to advance discussions.
This balance of visibility and discretion ensures that Opportunities remain accessible, while maintaining the professionalism and confidentiality expected across the Exchange.
